"Is something going on?" Esme asked, coming in the back door from hunting. They look so worried...It's freaking me out. She thought, attempting to smooth out her hair that was windblown from running.

"No, nothing!" bella quickly responded. Too quickly *whooops!* She thought!

Esme raised one eyebrow. She didn't buy it. Well, I s'pose its their buisiness, not mine. I shouldn't interfere. She thought, looking over her shoulder at the back door.
"Hey, have any of you seen Carlisle around?" She asked, turning back around to look at the others in the room.

"noooo!" Bell said.

Carlisle grinned, hearing the conversation from inside the house. He snuck in the back door, and stopped behind Esme
"Looking for me?" he asked, still grinning. Esme tensed, and whipped around to face him.
"Jeez, don't do that!" She said, but stifling a giggle.
"Sorry... Is something the matter, Bella?" Carlisle asked, noticing Bella's stiff posture.

(Lol, sorry, I wanted to make him have a weird entrance. )

"Nothing, really." I said, glaring at Jasper.

"Okay, then." Carlisle said. He was beginning to feel a little awkward, just standing there and not really...saying anything....

Alice bounded up the steps, away from Edward to where Carlisle was. "Hi!!!" She said, giggling, still from her convo with Edward.

(Iknowwwww!!!)

"Um, hi. Enthusiastic much, Alice?" Carlisle said, with a weak laugh.

"What's wrong with you?!" Alice asked, a frown creasing her forehead.

Carlisle raised one eyebrow.
"Me? Nothing. Why do you ask?" he asked. Carlisle hadn't been acting strangely...Or maybe he had? I'm pretty sure I haven't... But, who knows? Sometimes one little thing can be misleading. He thought.

"You don't look very happy!" Alice complained.

"Hey, Edward, did you hear about Kate and Garrett?!" Esme asked, enthusiastically. It was just so... there wasn't even a word for it. It was great when people decided to "tie the knot", so to speak.

"Yes." Edward said with a nod. He had seen it in Alice's head.

Esme decided to shut it now... Nobody else really seemed too enthusiastic, so she was probably making a fool of herself.

Edward snickered.

"Is something funny, Edward?" Carlisle asked, with a weak laugh.

Edward glanced at Esme and shook his head, his lips twitching from laughter.

Carlisle also glanced at Esme, who was concentrating on a tile on the floor.
"Okay, then. That was... Awkward..." He said quietly.

Edward laughed. He kissed Bella quickly.

"So... Two months. Do they already have everything planned?" Esme asked, trying to change the subject to something a little less awkward.

"Most of it. They could use more decorations." Alice said with a frown.

Carlisle noticed Alice's disapproving expression.
"Well, I'm sure it'll be great, no matter what." He said, one side of his mough pulling up in a half-smile.

Alice smiled. "They'll be happy together." SHe said with a smile.

"Yeah, they will." Esme added quietly, looking up from the floor.
