"ooh! i can't wait. Though, her dress is sorta boring..." Alice said, thinking. Maybe she'd e-mail them...
"Alice.." Edward said quietly. She sighed. "Fine!"

Esme smirked. You could always count on Alice to say something like that...

Edward laughed. "And Esme, she wanted to e-mail Kate to tell her how to improve the wedding." he said with a sly grin

Esme sighed, trying to hold back a giggle.
"Alice.. You wouldn't!" She said, her gaze flickering between Edward and Alice.

Alice glared at Edward and narrowed her eyes. "Of course I wouldn't!" She said, pretending as if the thought never occured. She stuck ehr tongue out at Edward.

"Okay... Just making sure..." Esme said quietly. It was actually like Alice to do something like that... Although, it probably wouldn't help to do that... since Kate and Garrett probably didn't even know that the Cullens knew about the wedding yet.

Edward shrugged at Esme's thought. "Kate knows Alice." he murmured.

"Good point." Esme whispered, almost silently.

(*Gasp* OMG! Santa's REAL!! [Hehe...Sorry, that was weird...])

Edward sighed, with a slight smile on his face.

(Yesh, he is!)

(Lol. Okay... I'm trying to think of a twist to put in the plot line here... And... Um, "and" nothing, actually...)

Carlisle kept his mouth shut the whole time. He hoped that the wedding would be in Alaska, nowhere too close to Washington. Apparently nobody had heard about was he thought might be a really bad situation.
He'd been out hunting, farther away than usual, when he had found the bodies of several animals -mostly wolves- and even a few humans. Carlisle had suspected that it was only a freak accident, but he didn't know if it was only that, or some kind of murderer on the loose. The only fact he was able to decipher was that it wasn't a vampire or a werewolf. It was something else entirely.

(Hehe...Sorta like Hellmasker, but its not...)

Edward read Carlisle's thoughts.

Carlisle glanced at Edward, who was giving him a strange look.
"Yes, Edward?" He asked in a whisper.

"Why didn't you tell me about this?" He hissed, barely audible.

Carlisle bit his lip. He really didn't know why he hadn't told anyone.
Because, I was hoping that it wasn't anything to worry about. I didn't want anyone to be worried over something like this. But, now that I've given it some serious thought... Well, now it's even worse. He explained, mentally.

Edward sighed. "What are we going to do?" He asked under his breath. He saw the others get suspicious

Carlisle shrugged. Esme must've noticed, because she looked at him axiously.
"Is something wrong?" She asked.
"Um, no, everything is fine..." Carlisle answered, forcing a smile. It was hard, he hated lying to her.

Edward nodded, helping Carlisle. He knew how it was.

"I'd like a moment to talk to Carlisle... if that's fine?" He said, looking at Carlisle for approval. "It's nothing you need to worry about." He told them in encouragement.

Carlisle nodded once.
"Of course." He said quietly, then walked over to where Edward was standing.

Edward watched everyone silently remoe themselves from the room. He heard all their anxious, curious thoughts as well.
"What exactly happened, Carlisle?" He asked quietly, so the others, especially Emmett, couldn't hear.

Carlisle stifled a sigh. Here goes.
"Okay. I was out hunting earlier, farther away than usual -don't ask why, I just was- when I found several bodies of animals, mostly wolves... And some of a few humans. From what I could tell, neither a vampire or a werewolf killed them. There weren't too many bodies, so, I thought that maybe it was only a coincedence. Some kind of animal passing through." He explained. He stood quietly at the end of his 'speech', waiting for Edward's reaction.

"So what makes you think it mighn't be a another animal...?" Edward asked.

Carlisle shrugged slightly. He really didn't know how to answer that question.
"I don't know, Edward. I just hope this isn't something bigger than I think it is." He said quietly.

"I understand, Carlisle" Edward said. He really did.
